Pursuant to provisions of the Wyoming Industrial Development Information and Siting Act and Siting Rules and Regulations, Notice is hereby given that U.S. Gold Corp has filed an application for the construction and operation of the CK Gold Project (Project). The Project will be constructed on all private and state land leases in Laramie County. The Project is for a copper, gold, and silver mine. The applicant proposes an 18-month construction period beginning in the first quarter of 2024 with commercial operation in the third quarter of 2025. U.S. Gold Corp estimates an 18-month average workforce of 169 with a peak of 349 in June 2023.

Notice of Hearing
Pursuant to W. S. 16-3-107, Notice is hereby given that the Wyoming Industrial Siting Council will conduct a contested case hearing on the Application for a Permit, contingent on the issuance of a final opinion of the quantity of water available from the State Engineer, for the CK Gold Project beginning at 8:00 AM on May 10, 2023 and continuing as necessary. The hearing will be held at the Center for Conferences and Institutes, UP Centennial Room (CCI 129/130) on the Laramie County Community College Campus in Cheyenne, WY. The Council will consider the applicant’s request for a Permit pursuant to the provisions of the Industrial Development Information and Siting Act (W. S. 35-12-101 et. seq.) and the Rules and Regulations adopted thereunder. Persons eligible pursuant to W. S. 35-12-111 and wishing to participate must notify the Industrial Siting Council in writing by April 20, 2023 and participate in the pre-hearing meeting on April 24, 2023 beginning at 10 AM and continuing as necessary. Persons desiring to make a limited appearance statement only may submit a written statement as provided by W. S. 35-12-111(c).
