The Department of Environmental Quality, Solid and Hazardous Waste Division has revised
Solid Waste Rule(SWR) Chapter 3, Industrial Landfills. The revisions to Chapter 3 remove redundant and irrelevant language, corrects grammar, restructures passages for clarity, provides consistency with other chapters of the SWR, update the permit terms, as well as, the standards for location, design and construction, operating, monitoring,recordkeeping, reporting, closure and post-closure, and corrective action; and formats the rule to meet the Secretary of State requirements.
The Environmental Quality Council adopted the revised rule at a public hearing at the Capitol Extension Public Meeting Room 5, Herschler Building, 122 W. 25th Street, Cheyenne, Wyoming on November 15, 2022. The final rule was filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State on
January 13, 2023.
