SPECIAL EDITION
The Wyoming Department of Education seeks educator input on the Draft 2020 Math Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs).
Content Standards are what students should know and be able to do, and Performance Standards are how well they should demonstrate that understanding.
PLDs describe the performance expectations of students for each of the four performance level categories: advanced, proficient, basic, and below basic. These are descriptions of what students within each performance level are expected to know and be able to do.
For Educator Input on 2020 Math PLDs: 1. Review the Draft 2020 Wyoming Math PLDs. 2. Complete the Math 2020 PLD Educator Survey. 3. This survey will close at 11:59 p.m. on November 1, 2020. 4. The input collected on the PLDs will be shared with the Math Standards Review Committee to provide guidance when making determinations on the Math Performance Standards.
