Manage and verify your students by Aug. 21
This year COVID-19 has forced testing to compensate in order to meet students’ needs. There are multiple opportunities to take the ACT this fall for those 2020 juniors who were unable to access the state opportunity in the Spring or Summer. Coordinators who want to test September 22 must update their testing numbers by August 21.
FALL ACT OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNTESTED 2020 JUNIORS
State Assessment:
1. Initial ACT – (Test Window 1) Paper Test Date: September 22, 2020
- Accommodated Paper Test Dates: September 22 - October 2.
2. Make-up ACT – (Test Window 2) Paper Test Date: October 6, 2020
- Accommodated Paper Test Dates: October 6 - 12.
3. Emergency ACT – (Test Window 3) Paper Test Date: October 20, 2020
- Accommodated Paper Test Dates: October 20 - 26.
*Please note that despite the terms initial, make-up, and emergency these testing opportunities may be used as a school determines useful for implementation.
National Assessment:
September National Testing Dates:
- Saturday, September 12 (existing).
- Sunday, September 13 (non-Saturday, existing).
- Saturday, September 19 (new).
October National Testing Dates:
- Saturday, October 10 (new).
- Saturday, October 17 (new).
- Saturday, October 24 (existing).
- Sunday, October 25 (non-Saturday, existing).

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) has partnered with the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) to ensure career readiness for all Wyoming students.
Students who take the ACT® WorkKeys® assessments on the Wyoming WorkKeys state test day may be eligible to receive an ACT® WorkKeys® National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®), in addition to qualifying for a Hathaway Provisional Opportunity Scholarship.
Attendees will leave with better knowledge about how WorkKeys is important for all Wyoming students, regardless of their postsecondary path after high school. Assign a Test Administration to an Examinee Previously Authorized for Accommodations and/or Supports
- Log in to your TAA account at https://readiness.act.org.
- On the Home screen, locate an examinee by entering the examinee’s TAA PIN and/or name, then select the Search button.
- Select the TAA PIN. The examinee’s Request History screen appears.
- Select the correct test and test administration from the drop-down menu. Pay attention to the date of the administration, and also the test type (e.g., State).
- Select the Assign Test Administration button.
- Finally, select the OK button when the “Confirmation” pop-up message appears (the language for Special testing is shown below as an example).
