The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) will provide webinar trainings and updates this fall. More information, including registration, will be part of future assessment newsletters.

WY-TOPP Test Coordinator (DTC) Training followed by AirWays Updates

  • August 13, 2020, 1-3 p.m.; 30-minute break; Airways Updates 3:30-4:30 p.m.
  • August 18, 2020, 8-10 a.m.; 30-minute break; Airways Updates 10:30-11:30 a.m.
  • August 26, 2020, 8-10 a.m.; 30-minute break; Airways Updates 10:30-11:30 a.m.

WY-ALT TA Training

  • January 19, 2021 - Online  9 a.m.-Noon
  • January 21, 2021 - Online 4-7 p.m.
  • January 29, 2021 - Central location TBD, Time TBD
  • February 3, 2021 - Online 4-7 p.m.
  • An additional date is TBD in Cheyenne as needed.

EDUCATOR INPUT ANTICIPATED SUMMER 2020

Math PLDs, Science PLDs, P.E. Standards, F&PA Standards, and CS Performance Standards

The WDE will collect educator input this summer on the following subjects: PE Standards, Fine & Performing Arts Standards, Math PLDs, Science PLDs, and Computer Science Performance Standards. A Superintendent's memo will announce when the educator input will be collected. Surveys can be sent to educators directly who complete this brief survey.

CALL FOR EDUCATORS: WY-ALT ITEM REVIEW COMMITTEE APPLICATION

Deadline to Apply:  May 29, 2020

Wyoming educators interested in participating in the WY-ALT Content Alignment Review Committee meeting being held virtually the week of June 23, 2020 may submit this application.

All participants must attend a training session from 8:30-9:30 a.m. MDT on June 22, 2020.  Selected committee members will be eligible for an honorarium that will be paid after committee meetings have taken place. All applications submitted by 11:59 p.m. on May 29, 2020 will be considered.

  • September 22, October 6 & 20: State Fall ACT Test Dates for 2019-20 Juniors
