ACT has canceled all State and National Testing for March through April. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic; there is no longer concern about census testing. Testing options are strictly to give juniors the opportunity to take the ACT for college submissions. Please click on the button to fill out a brief survey about possible options moving forward. These are not fully confirmed but your input will help us better advocate for our schools make and decisions to move forward.

The Writing with Multilingual Learners in the Elementary Grades workshop has been canceled due to the COVID-19 situation. WDE is investigating eLearning options with WIDA and will provide further informantion in upcoming newsletters.

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) has canceled WY-ALT and WY-TOPP summative testing for the school year 2019-20, and no formal accountability determinations will be made for the 2019-20 school year.
The U.S. Department of Education (USED) granted Wyoming a
waiver on March 20 from certain federal assessment and accountability requirements in light of the widespread school closures due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. The WDE is taking public comment on this waiver through April 20, 2020.
