WY-TOPP INDIVIDUAL STUDENT REPORT (ISR)

This is important information RE: the WY-TOPP Individual Student Reports (ISRs) that were shipped out to your schools last week.

  1. Issue - A data transfer discrepancy was found in the DOB field which caused a number of ISRs to have the wrong date of birth printed.
  2. ISRs - New Reports and Labels for the student cumulative files are going to be printed for ALL students and shipped out to schools. It will take approximately 2 weeks for AIR to reprint, package, and ship these out to schools. You can securely destroy all of the current ISRs on-site.
  3. Student Data Results - WDE and AIR have verified that student testing data is correct and was not impacted by this error.
  4. Fusion - The data has been updated on Fusion to reflect the correct DOB in the AIR field.  You can continue with your embargoed review of the data through Friday, September 21, 2018.  This correction has not impacted the review timeline and district data needs to be verified by 9/21/18.  For further information on your Confidential Review, please refer to Memo 2018-0972017-18 WY-TOPP and WY-ALT Grade 3-10 Student-Level Confidential Reports

If you have further questions, please contact the correct group/person below:

REGISTER NOW FOR THE 2019 NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS (NAEP)

Instructions and registration materials were sent via regular mail Labor Day weekend to schools selected for the 2019 NAEP (electronic versions were also emailed to the schools’ principals).

Principals are asked to review the materials ASAP, designate a building coordinator and ensure their school(s) register online for NAEP before Friday September, 28.

Building coordinators will use a unique 8-digit school code highlighted in yellow in their registration materials to create system-user accounts at www.MyNAEP.com and register their schools.  After creating a system password, coordinators need to complete the initial Provide School Information (PSI) section on the website to finalize a school’s registration.

To view a brief video on completing the PSI form, CLICK HERE. Creating a user account and completing the PSI should only take about 5-10 minutes of staff time.

Specific question(s) about NAEP at your school? Please contact Will Donkersgoed at william.donkersgoed@wyo.gov or (307) 777-5133 for all NAEP-related questions and additional support. Also please stay tuned to the WDE Assessment Newsletter for additional details re: 2019 NAEP in Wyoming.  Thank you!
