Join Antoinette Hallam for the second installment of the EL Quarterly webinars. This webinar will include an in depth look into Individual English Learner Plans. The components of the plan will be outlined and Antoinette will share an example of an IEL Plan. There will also be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.

The quarterly webinars are designed to strengthen understanding of the components that must be evident within the District EL Plan, Individual EL (IEL) Plan, and identifying and serving English Learner (EL) Students.

ACCESS 2.0 scores will be released on May 14, 2018.

Understand your scores by attending the upcoming WIDA workshop. You will learn how to examine your score reports and use the information to inform instruction for your EL students. There is still time to sign up, so don’t miss out.

June 7th in Casper, WY or June 8th in Riverton, WY

EL teachers and EL coordinators have the opportunity to learn how the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 Score Reports provide important information about students’ academic English language proficiency. Participants will examine the different types of reports available and each report’s function. Participants will also discuss the connection between the score reports and the WIDA ELD Standards and Assessment System, and how these reports can serve as a tool to initiate discussion about instruction. This is a great opportunity to get any questions you might have answered. Participants have the option to bring score reports or learn how to pull score reports at the workshop.

Share your experience!

This survey focuses on your experience administering the ACCESS for ELLs 2.0, Alternate ACCESS, and WIDA Screener. We value your input, so it would be extremely helpful to have your thoughts. The survey will take 5 minutes or less to complete. We appreciate the time you take to complete this survey!

ACT Academy is a resource students can use to prepare for the ACT.

The top 3 things your students should know:

  1. It’s free!
ACT Academy is free to all students everywhere. Having an account allows your students to track their progress and keep moving forward.
  2. Create a playlist: Take a quiz or enter a score.
Short quizzes are designed to help students identify the content they have mastered and to clarify areas where more focus is needed. If your students have already taken the ACT or PreACT they can simply enter their scores and custom playlists will be automatically created!
  3. Watch and learn.
ACT Academy creates automated daily playlists to hit on the basic lessons your students need to master the ACT. After each lesson, a short quiz will determine if the resources they were given helped them learn the material needed.

Watch the video on these three easy steps. Follow this link to ACT Academy.
