For the Spring K-2 interim assessments and Winter 1-2 interim assessments, schools will need to have listening devices available to students. Dependent on the number of listening devices and number of K-2 students testing, schools may need also consider testing schedules that allow them to meet their needs.

Second Scorer assignments have been posted in TIDE. You can now log in to TIDE and view which students will require a Second Scorer for the Spring 2018 administration. Click the Student Information tab to view your students as you did during the Initial Pre-ID Window. Note which students now have a 'Yes' in the ALT Second Scorer column. You will be able to determine if your school needs to send a Second Scorer to training. |

Deadline to register for all WY-ALT trainings is January 4th.
All Spring 2018 Test Administrators (TAs) and Second Scorers (SSs) must attend one of the WY-ALT trainings, even if you administered the test in the past. If you attended a full day training last year as well as administered the test last year and feel comfortable administering in 2018, you can attend one of the half-day refresher trainings, rather than the full day training. WY-ALT Test Administrators will need to take the full training at least once every 4 years or when the assessment changes and take the refresher course annually. To register for a WY-ALT training, please click on the appropriate training date and submit the registration. You may register for one training session per person. If you would like to edit your registration, please contact the Help Desk at wyohelpdesk@air.org.

If you plan to test online for the spring ACT administration, then it is time to begin the site readiness process.
During the site readiness process, you will configure your computers to ensure you can successfully test online. Completing site readiness can take a few hours or several days, depending on your needs.
To get started:
- Make sure your systems meet the technical requirements, can do proctor caching, and can handle a mock administration. If they don’t, you’ll need to do paper testing.
- Make sure the test rooms you’ll use can meet the facility requirements.
- If examinees need accommodations or English learner supports, identify what is available in the online vs. paper formats. Even if you test online, some examinees may need to test on paper.
Please visit the Wyoming ACT website for in depth instructions on how to prepare for the ACT administration. Please contact the ACT help desk, 800-553-6244 ext. 2800 (Wyoming State code = 51), with questions.
