Wisconsin Lottery Sends Three Lucky Winners to Powerball New Year's Rockin' Eve Experience

Chance to become 2020's First Powerball Millionaire of the YearTM

MADISON, Wis. – Three lucky Wisconsinites are headed to New York City for the trip of a lifetime, thanks to Wisconsin Lottery and Powerball. The three winners entered a limited-time offer drawing in May and won the trip that includes a chance to become the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year live on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC.

  • Debbie Glojek of Sheboygan says: "I'm a little bit in shock. I've always wanted to do a New Year's in New York so this is fulfilling a dream." Debbie is bringing her sister as her guest.

  • Kimberly Maggiori of Menomonee Falls says: "We've never been to a New Year's Eve party before so this is really exciting." Kimberly is bringing her husband as her guest.

  • Vivian Gonzalez of Fond du Lac say: "I'm excited for the whole trip. You watch the ball drop since you were a kid and now to be involved in it is awesome." Vivian is bringing her daughter as her guest.

"We hope our Wisconsin winners and their guests have an incredible time during their Powerball New Year's Rockin' Eve Experience trip. After winning 2019's largest Powerball jackpot, we think our WINsconsin Powerball players are pretty lucky—so stay tuned to see if Debbie, Kimberly, or Vivian is the first Powerball Millionaire of the Year," said Cindy Polzin, Wisconsin Lottery Director.

With an estimated value of $21,946, the four-day, three-night VIP trip includes a private performance by the Beach Boys, tickets to the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes at the iconic Radio City Music Hall, a Hornblower Infinity holiday dinner cruise on the Hudson River, an exclusive VIP New Year’s Eve Party in Times Square with a view of the midnight ball-drop, and more.

There are 25 lottery jurisdictions sending 303 winners and their guests on the trip. The winner of the $1 Million prize will be drawn by Jessie James Decker shortly after midnight on New Year’s Eve. There is a 1 in 303 chance of becoming the First Powerball Millionaire of the Year.

Tune into Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve television special on ABC to cheer on the Wisconsin crew!
