Powerball New Year's Rockin' Eve Winners Announced

#WINsconsin draws first NYRE Experience winners heading to New York City

 

MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin Lottery is sending three lucky players and their guests on a Powerball VIP experience of a lifetime–destination, New York City (NYC). The three winners selected in the Powerball New Year's Rockin' Eve Experience (NYRE) drawing will attend this New Year’s Eve exclusive Powerball party in Times Square.

 

Congratulations to the three lucky winners–Debbie Glojek of Sheboygan, Kimberly Maggiori of Menomonee Falls and Vivian Gonzalez of Fond du Lac, who all won the NYRE VIP Experience. While in NYC, they will also have a 1 in 350 or better chance of being crowned 2020's First Powerball Millionaire of the Year. The winner of the $1 Million prize will be drawn and announced minutes into the New Year.

 

The VIP experience, includes a performance of the Christmas Spectacular starring the Radio City Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall and holiday cruise on the Hudson River with dinner and entertainment. It also provides hotel accommodations, and an exclusive New Year’s Eve gala at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, featuring live entertainment and prime viewing of the Times Square ball drop.

 

The First Powerball Millionaire of the Year campaign is taking place in 25 participating jurisdictions throughout the country. Wisconsin is the first state to hold its drawing. Entry dates and requirements vary by each participating lottery. Winners from all jurisdictions will head to New York City on a four-day, three-night trip-for-two from December 29, 2019 to January 1, 2020.

 

Total estimated value of the Powerball New Year's Rockin' Eve Experience trip prize, excluding any potential prize won during the trip, is $21,946, which includes federal and state taxes.
