Hey there! Governor Tony Evers here.
As we celebrate Public Service Recognition Week and State Employee Appreciation Day on May 8th, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the state employees and folks working in public service across the state.
The work you do is important. It’s important to me, and the millions of Wisconsinites who depend on the services you provide. Your work every day saves and changes lives.
From making sure our kids get the best education possible, serving our veterans and farmers, protecting consumers and our natural resources, making sure our roads are safe, helping folks access treatment, services, and resources they need—that work happens because of you and your service.
So, on behalf of Wisconsinites and a grateful state, thank you.
Thank you for showing up each and every day to serve our neighbors, our communities, and our state, and for working hard on behalf of the people of Wisconsin.
You will always have my deepest respect and gratitude for all the good work you do.
With that, happy Public Service Recognition Week and State Employee Appreciation Day! Keep up the good work, and take care, folks.
