DOA Secretary Blumenfeld Makes Leadership Announcements

New Appointments for Assistant Deputy Secretary and Division of Facilities and Transportation Services Administrator

Madison, Wis. – Department of Administration Secretary Kathy Blumenfeld announced the appointment of Danielle Williams as Assistant Deputy Secretary. Williams previously served in this role at the Department of Workforce Development (DWD) since 2019.

During her tenure at DWD, Ms. Williams guided a major IT modernization effort, developed key stakeholder relationships to support Wisconsin employers and employees, and played a key role in developing the Workforce Innovation Grant program, which DOA partners with DWD in administering. Danielle Williams joined DOA on January 9.

Sanjay Olson was appointed as Division Administrator for the DOA Division of Facilities and Transportation Services (DFTS). Mr. Olson has decades of experience as a civil engineer and served 25 years at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources before joining the DOA Division of Facilities Development in 2019. He will begin his new post on January 17.

The Division of Facilities and Transportation Services maintains and provides space management services for the Department of Administration building portfolio of over 30 facilities, oversees enterprise real estate and leasing, and manages the operation of mail transportation, record center, and enterprise fleet services.
