Wisconsin Dells, Wis. – On Sunday, October 23, the Wisconsin Department of Administration and the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs will hold the 1st Annual Women in Cybersecurity event at the Wilderness Resort and Conference Center in Wisconsin Dells. Held in conjunction with the Governor’s 2022 Cybersecurity Summit, this event will focus on the growing and evolving opportunity for women in the field.

“It’s exciting to see new opportunities for women in this critical industry, and we’re proud to support this first annual event and expand the horizons for cybersecurity professionals,” said DOA Secretary-designee Kathy Blumenfeld.

“Wisconsin’s 1st annual Women in Cybersecurity Summit will bring panel members and speakers from the public and private sectors who are cybersecurity leaders and innovators,” said Trina Zanow, Wisconsin’s chief information officer. “It will unite women from across the state to discuss important topics in the field today and will be a great place for collaborating, networking, sharing knowledge, and exploring new interests with other professionals.”

The full-day event will feature keynote addresses from Teri Takai, Executive Director for the Center for Digital Government, and Mandy Huth, the Chief Information Security Officer at Kohler, as well as panel discussions on business partnerships, education and government.
