The Wisconsin Department of Administration Marks Career Development Week With Open Job Opportunities |

Madison, Wis. – The Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) is observing Career Development Week by highlighting current career advancement opportunities within the agency. The Wisconsin DOA serves a unique function when it comes to state government, by providing centralized purchasing and financial management, human resources, IT, construction and much more for state agencies. “Working at DOA means you can make a difference in the lives of Wisconsinites every day,” said DOA Secretary Joel Brennan. “I’m so proud to work alongside amazing professionals who are committed to making sure that everyone we serve, both within state government and across the state, receives effective and efficient services they can count on.” Many divisions within DOA have open career opportunities providing family-supporting jobs within state government. Here is a sample of some of the current openings available at wisc.jobs: The Division of Energy, Housing and Community Resources (DEHCR) develops housing policy and offers a broad range of program assistance and funds to address homelessness and support affordable housing, public infrastructure, and economic development opportunities. Current DECHR job openings include:
The Division of Enterprise Operations (DEO) supports the Serve Wisconsin Board; administers enterprise policies; and provides services to DOA and supported agencies in the areas of financial management, procurement, risk management; and facilitates opportunities for minority-owned and other diverse businesses to sell goods and services to state agencies.
The Division of Enterprise Technology (DET) develops and maintains efficient and effective information technology services in collaboration with State of Wisconsin agencies, boards, and commissions as well as other units of government, to best serve those living and working in Wisconsin. Current DET openings include:
Division of Facilities Development (DFD) implements the State Building Program at the direction of the State Building Commission. DFD has oversight over the construction of new buildings and the remodeling and renovation of existing facilities for all state agencies and the University of Wisconsin System. Division of Personnel Management (DPM) provides Human Resources leadership for the State of Wisconsin Government Executive Branch agencies, comprised of over 20 state agencies, supporting 30,000+ employees.
