ICYMI: State Isn't Done Helping Families Avoid Eviction

DOA Secretary Joel Brennan pens editorial in Wisconsin State Journal

Madison, Wis. – On Monday, Wisconsin Department of Administration Secretary Joel Brennan penned an op-ed in the Wisconsin State Journal on the recent end of the nationwide eviction ban, and available funding to help Wisconsinites hard hit by the pandemic to recover.

“While we have seen many reasons for optimism, the mental, physical and financial strain of the pandemic has not ended for many Wisconsin families,” says Secretary Brennan. “Through WERA (Wisconsin Emergency Rental Assistance), we can help many more families see that light at the end of the tunnel.”
