 Wisconn Valley development roads
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) recently announced the execution of a contract to construct a new box culvert for the future Wisconn Valley Way, and replace the box culvert on Racine County KR.
Hoffman Construction Company of Black River Falls is the primary contractor on the $1.7 million project.
The drainage structures will be installed in cooperation with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ stream and migratory bird limitation timeframes. Installing these culverts prior to the roadway construction protects area resources, accelerates adjacent road construction, and facilitates the next phase of scheduled improvement projects.
Construction is expected to begin in October. Work is scheduled for completion in early 2019.
