The State of Wisconsin is changing how users access government resources by replacing multiple state logon IDs with a single personal account that secures private access to participating Wisconsin government resources.
MyWisconsin ID will eventually replace all logon management systems, including DWD ID. This change will be applied to the ERD Case Portal on Dec. 13.
If you currently have access to the Equal Rights Case Portal, you will need to register for a MyWisconsin ID to access the ERD Case Portal after the Dec. 13 launch of MyWisconsin ID.
Other government resources will eventually move to MyWisconsin ID. As those resources migrate to MyWisconsin ID, you will be able to access those services using the MyWisconsin ID you create to regain access to the Equal Rights Case Portal.

MyWisconsin ID is a single personal account that gives you secure private access to participating Wisconsin government resources.
MyWisconsin ID is a personalized, email-based ID that offers advanced security in a single sign-on solution. The benefit of MyWisconsin ID is it replaces numerous account credentials eliminating the burden of having to remember multiple logins for each individual interaction with the state. But not all state services are moving to MyWisconsin ID at the same time.
You may notice a limited number of state agencies currently using MyWisconsin ID. The DWD Equal Rights Division, for example, will be the first DWD division to start using MyWisconsin ID for access to its case portal. Other ERD applications, including the online complaint filing system and minor work permit application will eventually be added to the list of services accessible through MyWisconsin ID.
The DWD Equal Rights Division has developed step-by-step instructions and a Frequently Asked Questions page to help users register for a MyWisconsin ID for case portal access.
Please note that the change to MyWisconsin ID takes place on Dec. 13. If you currently have access to the Equal Rights Case Portal using a DWD ID, you will need to register for a MyWisconsin ID to regain access to the portal following the Dec. 13 launch.
