Survey on Providing Access to Extracurricular Activities and Non-Academic Activities for Students with Disabilities
Wisconsin DPI and the Council on Special Education are collecting examples and innovative practices on the different ways schools provide access to extracurricular activities and non-academic activities for students with disabilities. These examples will be shared back in a future resource to support IEP teams with information and strategies to support the unique needs of students with disabilities when discussing participation extracurricular and nonacademic activities. Please feel free to share this survey with your school communities. Responses should be submitted by November 14. Pupil Services Field Supervision and Mentoring Modules
Free online Pupil Services Field Supervision and Mentoring Modules for school counselors, school psychologists and school social workers.
These modules were developed through a partnership with the Department of Public Instruction (DPI) and faculty from the School Psychology Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Funding for the module development was provided through the Federal School Based Mental Health Professionals Grant. These modules are intended to serve as an introductory training on field supervision and mentoring of pupil services professionals, namely school psychologists, school counselors, and school social workers. Both modules include information, resources, practical exercises, and reflection activities.
