Superintendent praises Evers as longtime champion of education
MADISON — Dr. Jill Underly, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, released a statement today thanking Governor Tony Evers for his decades of service to Wisconsin:
“Thank you, Governor Evers, for your steady and compassionate leadership through some of the most difficult years our state and our schools have ever faced. You guided Wisconsin through the uncertainty of the pandemic, the turbulence of federal shifts, and the challenges of recovery. At every stage, you kept kids, families, and their well-being at the heart of every decision you made. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering commitment to mental health and public education.”
