We are thrilled to announce our second summer innovation institute "Transforming Systems for Innovation" sponsored by the Teaching and Learning Team at the Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Please join us June 23-26 for this exciting event, which we anticipate will take place at the Lowenwood Education Center in Land O' Lakes.

This institute will offer invaluable guidance and support to school districts as we explore innovative pathways to enhance our educational systems. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, informative sessions, interactive discussions, and networking opportunities designed to discover and develop new approaches to education.

Key Highlights:

  • Hands-On Activities: Practical exercises to help you apply innovative strategies in your district.
  • Informative Sessions: Insights from experts on the latest trends and best practices in education innovation.
  • Interactive Discussions: Meaningful conversations with peers to share ideas and experiences.
  • Networking Opportunities: Connect with other Wisconsin educators and leaders to build a supportive community.

To ensure the successful implementation of the ideas and strategies developed during the institute, we will provide continuous support throughout the 2025-26 school year via online sessions. This ongoing assistance will help you integrate these innovations into your district's practices effectively.

Here’s what our past participants had to say about their experience:

“It was powerful to engage with like-minded educators from around the state in the work of innovation for student learning. So often we are in spaces with the nay-sayers and are therefore restrained in some ways from fully expressing our ideas and dreams. This was a beautiful space for a short moment in time when we could move beyond those restraints to dream big.”

“I loved the variety of speakers!  Having Wisconsin people from Wisconsin schools model what is possible gave me hope.”

“Meeting directly with folks who were invested in improving systems and pursuing PBL learning, helping each other generate new ideas, and building a sense of solidarity with other educators was SO rewarding.”

We look forward to your participation in this transformative event. Together, we can create a brighter future for our students and communities.
