Dear Law Enforcement Administrators:
A reminder to complete the annual Recertification Training Compliance process in ACADIS to be eligible for your agency’s annual distribution of training funds for state fiscal year 2023 (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023). You are encouraged to complete this process as early as you can. Agencies are eligible to submit the request as soon as:
- All officers certified before July 1, 2022 have completed the required 24 hours of training, and
- All law enforcement officers certified before July 1, 2022 have completed the annual LESB Handgun Qualification FY23.
- All law enforcement officers certified before July 1, 2022 have completed the LESB Biennial Vehicle Pursuit Training FY22-23 (7/1/2021 - 6/30/2023).
Key Dates for Officer Recertification:
June 30, 2023 - Complete Annual Training
All officers certified before July 1, 2022 must complete 24 hours of training by June 30, 2023. Only officers who have been on an authorized leave of absence that has been reported in Acadis will be eligible for an extension into the next state fiscal year to complete recertification training.
July 31, 2023 – Deadline to Enter Training Into ACADIS
All training must be entered into ACADIS by July 31, 2023 for the July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023 training period.
July 31, 2023 - Final Deadline to Request Reimbursement
All agencies must complete the Recertification Training Compliance process in ACADIS under the Organization tab. Instructions on how to complete this process are available on WILENET. Under Training and Standards choose “Recertification Training.” Scroll down past "Recertification Process," to find and select “How to submit Recertification Report in Acadis,” or click here: Recertification Reporting Process in Acadis.pdf
