Get outside and enjoy the view! Join the Pepin County Land Conservation Department, Wisconsin DNR, and Lower Chippewa River Alliance for this workday at Maiden Rock Bluff SNA. Maiden Rock is known for peregrine falcons, 400 foot bluffs, and rare plants. But there are concerns; invasive brush and red cedar are invading the remnant bluff prairie and oak savanna. We will remove these species to encourage native plants to thrive. The work takes energy but will be on flat to gently rolling terrain. No skills needed you will be trained onsite. Lunch is included!
