When My Insurance Benefits goes live on July 1, 2025, members will be able to interact with their insurance benefits online through secure, easy-to-use 24/7 access. The new system is designed for use by all ETF employers, their employees, and retirees who interact with ETF-administered insurance benefits.
Benefits for employers include:
- Enrollment for ETF-administered health, dental, vision, accident, life, and income continuation insurances in one place.
- No longer need to access MEBS or Web Access Management System.
- Members will be able to securely upload their documents directly to the new system.
- Health insurance rates will be available earlier.
Except for long-term care insurance, all types of ETF-administered insurance will be included in the new system. This includes health insurance, uniform dental insurance, supplemental dental insurance (Preventive, Select, and Select Plus), supplemental vision insurance, pre-tax savings accounts, accident plan, income continuation insurance, and life insurance.

A new system introduces new vocabulary. Let’s talk about some of the key terms you’ll see as we get ready to launch our new system:
-
My Insurance Benefits: The new system that will let members securely enroll in, change, or review their insurance benefits administered by ETF. As an employer, you will be able to review and approve employee selections. While the system is replacing myETF Benefits (MEBS), it will include more than just health insurance. It will also cover ETF-administered dental, vision, accident, life (Securian), and income continuation insurances.
-
My Benefits: The portal through which members and employers will access ETF applications and systems, including My Insurance Benefits.
-
Insurance Administration System (IAS) Program: Encompasses the work needed to implement the new My Insurance Benefits system.
-
Employer Payment Application (EPA): A new application for employers that will allow you to securely submit certain payments to ETF.
-
Employer Transaction Application (ETA): A new application for employers that will allow you to send demographic data and benefit eligibility dates to ETF.
