It’s an extraordinary and complicated time to be a young person. The future is full of unknowns, but education after high school can help you find your place in the world.

There is no shortage of college and career-planning advice out there, especially online. Some is good, some is…not-so-good. So where can you find information that is complete, correct, and clear? The trustworthy resources below were created by experts with students’ best interests in mind:

• The newly updated College Knowledge Book, developed in collaboration with students, covers college and career planning, financial aid, and related topics. The student-tested, student-approved College Knowledge materials are available in English, Russian, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese.
• The checklists and worksheets in the 12th Year Campaign Junior/Senior Student Workbook help high school students navigate college admissions and financial aid.
• The GEAR UP website has a wealth of free college planning resources for students and families.
