New guidance for household goods carriers in counties entering Phase Two
On Tuesday, Gov. Jay Inslee issued new guidance for household goods carriers and real estate brokers.
Once a county reaches Phase Two of the Safe Start Washington plan, moving companies can resume normal operations if they can meet safe workplace guidelines from the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I).
In counties in Phase One, moving companies are still limited to only supporting a closing real estate transaction, or aiding a vulnerable person leaving an unsafe environment.
