Safe Moving Month
May is Safe Moving Month and an excellent reminder for consumers about best practices for hiring a moving company.
Before you hire a moving company for a move within the
state of Washington, the Utilities and Transportation Commission has some words
of caution: Check with the state, before it’s too late. The UTC enforces consumer protection and safety laws and can assist
customers who have a complaint against a moving company. Check that a company’s permit is valid here.
