Spring Service Change Happening on March 30

The seasons aren't the only thing changing in March. More than 15 Pierce Transit routes will be adjusted on March 30 as part of our Spring Service Change. In addition, all of Sound Transit's Express Routes will be restored to pre-March 2024 levels. 

Check our website on March 13 to for a list of what routes are changing. 

Transit Talk

• The new Federal Way Downtown Station will open for service on March 29. Pierce Transit buses will continue using the old Federal Way Transit Center on March 29, and will make the switch to the new station on March 30. Look for signage and employees on site for assistance. 
• 25% of residents in Pierce Transit's service are able to walk to a high-frequency bus route.  Explore other achievements we've made in our Strategic Plan.

  • March 20: Tacoma Library Moore Branch, 10 am - 12 pm

Starting March 1, the Adult Day Pass and Reduced Fare Price for ORCA card users will permanently change. Adults will now pay $6 for an all day pass, while ORCA LIFT users will only pay $2 for a day pass. Learn more on myorca.com.
