To make way for upcoming shelter replacements and equipment installation at bus stops served by Pierce Transit's Stream Community Line service, we are removing some existing benches and trash cans. Over the next few months, you will notice significant changes that may require your specific bus stop to be closed temporarily to allow for installation of a new shelter, bench, lighting, and real time bus arrival equipment. Construction dates, duration and level of impact will vary depending on location. More information and stop-specific messaging will be shared as the timeline is confirmed.
Stream Community Line is frequent, rapid and convenient service running from Tacoma Dome Station to Spanaway along Pacific Ave./SR 7, with fewer stops along the way, contributing to a faster trip. The Stream Community Line is offered in addition to the existing Route 1, which continues to stop at all its existing bus stops.
