Rider Alert: Current Mobile Tickets Expire Dec. 31, 2022

If you use the Passage: Transit Ticketing mobile app, please note that Pierce Transit tickets and passes in your Pass Wallet must be used before they expire on December 31, 2022.  College students may use college passes through December 31, 2022 as well. Pierce Transit is planning to introduce a new mobile ticketing solution in the coming months, but tickets and passes cannot be moved from one app to another. Please watch for further announcements on our website.

• Did you know Pierce Transit buses can take you to within a quarter mile of many popular parks in Pierce County? MetroParks Tacoma has a maintenance levy on the ballot Nov. 8, 2022 that would increase park maintenance, maintain affordable after-school activities and other recreation programs, and create a citywide Park Ranger program. • Pierce Transit routes will operate on their Sunday schedules on Thanksgiving Day
  • Plan ahead! Will your route be affected by a local Turkey Trot 5k race? 
• ORCA Alert: Safeway and Albertsons stores will stop reloading the classic cards by the beginning of December 2022.
  • This means customers that rely on those stores for reloading value need to replace their cards, or reload at a QFC or Fred Meyer store or other location. More information on how to do so can be found at myorca.com.
