General News

Dear Community Member,

You may have received an email announcing that transit riders parking at the Tacoma Dome Station will have the option to park in a reserved spot starting July 1. To start, up to 200 of the parking garages' 2,400 spots will be set aside for this optional, reserved parking option. Parking permit applications are now available at PierceTransit.org/permit-parking

Originally, these spots were to be reserved from 4 to 8 a.m. However, based on feedback, we are extending the reserved parking hours to 9 a.m. (4 – 9 a.m.). This will make the reserved parking option viable for many transit riders who work later hours and catch their transit ride a litter later in the morning.

Permit prices are $80 for Single Occupancy Vehicles (SOVs); $27 a month for ORCA LIFT card holders; and free for High Occupancy Vehicles (HOVs) with at least two transit riders arriving at the station together in a single vehicle.

To apply for a permit, visit PierceTransit.org/permit-parking.
