Use correct timer settings at record drawing
Make sure you set residential system timers for the system’s current use at record drawing. For example, if a design and install is for a 5-bedroom system, but you only build a 2-bedroom structure, you should set the timer to dose the system at 240 GPD.
Change of Designer form updated
You must submit a Change of Designer form when the designer of record changes to a new business or a new designer within the same business takes over the design. Please see the updated Change of Designer form.
High winter water table review 2023-2024 season
High winter water table season is just around the corner. Please prepare your sites and submit applications by Dec. 1. Remember, we require inspection ports for an accurate review. You can learn more about high winter water table review requirements in our High Winter Water Table Review Policy.
Make sure you meet O&M inspection requirements
Partial routine inspection reports don’t meet the O&M inspection requirements. You need to fully inspect all system components to meet O&M requirements.
If you submit a partial report either:
- Request we unlock the report, and make changes for a full routine report.
Or
- Submit a follow up report that states you fully inspected the remaining components.
Contact us at OMSeptic@tpchd.org or (253) 649-1421 if you submit a follow-up report for a routine inspection. Our program software doesn’t alert us when you submit follow-up reports.
