What happened
On June 1, 2023, we learned an unauthorized person accessed our Washington State Food Worker Card online training (Do it Right! Serve it Safe!) database. The breach occurred around Nov. 18, 2018.
The unauthorized person shared user account information on an online forum, including:
- Name.
- Date of birth.
- Email address.
- Zip code.
This information is available through a public records request. This is just a courtesy notification.
What we are doing
The breach occurred in a previous system. We have since moved to a new, more secure system.
