Permit financial relief to Pierce County food establishments.

2020 was a tough year for food service establishments. But, we’re here to help!

We’re adjusting the way we collect fees. We’re offering:

Extended due dates.

All facilities have until March 1 to pay permits—extra 30 days from invoice due date.

If your facility experienced a financial hardship because of temporary closures, limits to seating or other effects of COVID-19, you can request an additional 90 days. Send requests to food@tpchd.org.

Waived late fees.

Facilities temporarily closed because of COVID-19 can request a late-fees waiver until they re-open. Send requests to food@tpchd.org.

Refunds.

Facilities closed for 6 or more consecutive months in 2020 due to COVID-19 may be eligible for a partial refund.

Eligible facilities should send requests to food@tpchd.org.

Find financial assistance.

We share federal, state, and local information on financial assistance for food establishments at tpchd.org/food.
