Residential construction reopening information.

Gov. Inslee announced low-risk construction projects can restart if they implement specific safety measuresAs a result, we will resume review of all previously suspended activities. We want to quickly catch up on any backlog of pending applications and respond to the new applications you submit. Our front counter will remain closed until further notice.

Your health and the health of our staff are our top priorities

For the safety of everyone at the construction site, make sure you implement the Phase 1 Construction Restart COVID-19 Job Site Requirements before you schedule inspections.  Social distancing is our best tool to ensure cases of COVID-19 continue to decline. To protect our staff, contractors and the public, we’ll practice social distancing when we’re in the field. We won’t meet with property owners or otherwhile we inspect but can answer questions over the phone, if necessary.

Services available online at eco.tpchd.org

Apply online at eco.tpchd.org. You can pay online, too, at eco.tpchd.org/#/onlinePayments. If you can’t pay online, you can mail checks with invoices.

Extending approval dates for expired applications

We will allow a 6-month grace period for installation, inspection, and as-built submittals of septic systems for permits expired during the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order. We may adjust the date if Gov. Inslee extends the order.
