Join me for a Town Hall!

I am excited to invite you all to join me at Swasey Library on Saturday, October 3, for a town hall meeting. I'll be starting the event at 9:30am with a short group walk around the Narrows Business District so that we can discuss and see firsthand the issues that impact this area. From 10:00-11:30am, I will lead a discussion in the Swasey Library meeting room on a range of issues that I'm working on. There will be food and drinks. City staff members who work on Tidy-Up Tacoma, 311 requests, and transportation will also be at the event to answer questions and share information about their work.

There is no need to RSVP and everyone is welcome. I hope to see you on Saturday!

Please be sure to check out tacoma.gov for City updates and resources and, as always, please feel free to share your thoughts and concerns with me directly at john.hines@tacoma.gov. You can also call me at (253) 312-5620 if you have questions.

I invite you to tune in to the City Council’s Study Session or Council meetings every week on Tuesdays via TV Tacoma or Zoom. Access information is available at City Council Meetings | City of Tacoma.

Also, if you enjoy getting this newsletter and regular updates from me, please feel free to share it with others who you think might find it valuable and encourage them to subscribe.

Thank you!

Council Member John Hines -- District 1
