Hello, Tacoma!

I am so excited to share that we are launching a new program this year in partnership with Safe Streets called "Trick or Streets!" By signing up with Safe Streets, you can close your street to vehicle traffic for free to host Halloween, Día de los Muertos, or fall-themed celebrations during the weekend of October 31 – November 2, 2025.

Halloween is one of the most dangerous nights of the year for pedestrians, especially young children. By closing your street to vehicle traffic, you can create a fun, safe space for neighbors to connect and celebrate the season together.
