Hello, Tacoma!
Green Tacoma Day is right around the corner on October 11! This is one of my favorite days of the year and I hope you can join in.
Green Tacoma Day is our annual day of service where volunteers come together across numerous sites citywide to help plant trees, explore local green spaces, and engage in some fun family-friendly learning activities. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer or it’s your first time, you’re invited to take part in activities that help protect and restore the natural areas in your neighborhood. Participants of all ages are welcome to join and help us care for Tacoma’s environment.
All necessary tools, gloves, and guidance will be provided for volunteers. You just have to pick a location! You can find all the site and event details, including volunteer registration, at greentacomaday.org. Let's plant some trees together!
