City Council Appointments

On February 2, 2021, the City Council voted to confirm the 2021 Council Member appointments to various Council committees, regional boards, and commissions.  I am honored to have been elected Vice-Chair of the Infrastructure, Planning, and Sustainability Committee (IPS) and the Joint Municipal Action Committee (JMAC) this year. IPS will be tackling issues of transportation and housing, and JMAC is embarking on a broader, anti-racism and transformation project. In addition to my work on the City Council, I am looking forward to serving on all of these groups and to representing the City, as well as bringing back valuable information that will help move Tacoma’s priorities forward.

Openings become available throughout the year, and applications are accepted year-round. More information is available at cityoftacoma.org/servetacoma.

Currently, applications are being accepted for seats on the Commission on Immigrant and Refugee Affairs through February 28, 2021.
