Pines Road Construction North of I-90 Begins August 5

Spokane Valley, WA – Pines Road/SR 27 between Marietta Avenue and Mansfield Avenue in Spokane Valley will be upgraded as part of a private development project. Construction is expected from Aug. 5 to Oct. 30, 2024, and travelers can expect lane restrictions, reduced speed limits and traffic delays. 

The project will widen Pines Road, adding a center left turn lane, upgrade the entrances to the parking lot on the east, and install a new entrance to the parking lot on the west. 

Silver Springs Development is fully funding the road improvements as part of their project to construct a 12-building complex with approximately 300 housing units. The development will be accessible from Robie Road to the north and Pines Road to the east.
