The Spokane Valley Farmers Market kicks off its sixth season this week. Visit the market each Friday from June 6 to September 27 from 4-8 p.m. at Mirabeau Point Park, 2426 N. Discovery Place. Don’t miss the local farmers and producers, artisans, food trucks, live music, kids activities and more!
The City is launching a new teen camp program this July! This unique, immersive program develops over the course of two weeks, providing a variety of learning and real-life experience. Skills taught include fire starting and safety, navigation, shelter building, knife safety and the basics of camping and backpacking. This course is suited for teens ages 12 and up and has two session options. Scholarships are available.
