Evening paving work in the Renton Transit Center
Starting as early as Monday, Nov. 2, crews will begin intermittent concrete paving work inside the current work area of the future Renton Transit Center. Crews will perform work through 9 p.m. This work is intermittent and performed periodically through the month of November.
Neighbors can expect typical construction noise and vibrations from heavy equipment including the use of concrete cutting equipment, heavy machinery and equipment backup alarms.
This work is happening outside of typical work hours to complete time-sensitive paving of the transit center station and structures. The new transit center will allow Sound Transit to deliver fast, frequent, and reliable rapid transit service along the S1 corridor and support other local transit in the area.
