Construction in Bothell
Construction for the Stride S3 Line project continues to progress, with crews making progress on utility and roadway improvements that will support future rapid transit service along the SR 522 corridor and in Bothell. Recent work has focused on relocating and installing utilities ahead of upcoming infrastructure upgrades designed to improve transit reliability, safety, and mobility for all users.
In October, crews will continue building the Stride S3 Line with a focus on station construction, utility work, and roadway improvements along SR 522 and in Bothell.
Here's a look at some key activities you'll see in the coming weeks:

Continued installation of underground utilities and infrastructure on SR 522 between 96th Ave NE and 98th Ave NE.

Beginning station platform work at the 98th Ave NE and NE 185th St eastbound stations.
Travelers should expect temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, sidewalk closures, detours, and restricted turning movements. Plan ahead, leave early, and allow extra time to reach your destination.
