Pinehurst Station opens on September 30!
Pinehurst Station in Seattle, between Northgate and Shoreline South/148th stations, will open on Wednesday, September 30. Starting at 5 a.m. on opening day, trains will arrive every 4–5 minutes in both directions. Seattle's newest light rail station will make it easier for people in the NE 130th Street area to connect to jobs, schools, events and everything else the region has to offer.

Everett Link Extension: Share your thoughts before Nov. 2
The Everett Link Extension Draft Environmental Impact Statement is now available for review and public comment, and we want to hear from you! The Draft EIS explores how the different project alternatives could affect the physical, natural, and human environment. The 45-day comment period is open until Nov. 2 for you to share your thoughts with Sound Transit. Your comments will help shape future light rail access in your community and help us make decisions about station, route, and Operations and Maintenance Facility North locations.
In August, Sound Transit rolled out new Night Bus Route 547 (Redmond – Seattle via Bellevue) and Route 597 (Lakewood – Seattle via Sea-Tac), providing regional connectivity during hours when Link is not operating. Both Night Bus routes start shortly after the last Link trains leave and operate every 30 minutes throughout the night until Link service resumes. As this is the first time Sound Transit has provided overnight options, we anticipate ridership to grow as more people become familiar with the new routes.
