The Everett Link Draft Environmental Impact Statement is coming Sept. 18!
Sound Transit expects to publish the Everett Link Draft Environmental Impact Statement on Friday, Sept. 18. The Draft EIS explores how different project alternatives could affect the physical, natural, and human environment. It explains how potential impacts would be reduced where feasible. It also allows you to compare the options and offer suggestions to shape light rail access in your community.
We are asking you to read this document, share it with your neighbors, and send us your comments. A formal 45-day comment period will run from Sept. 18 until Nov. 2 for you to share your thoughts with Sound Transit.
Keep an eye on your email inbox next week for more information on where you can read and comment on the Draft EIS.
Sound Transit will host four public meetings/hearings during the comment period, three in-person and one virtual. All sessions will provide the same information and opportunity to comment, so attend whichever meeting works best for you. We will share more information on these meetings in future updates.

Resources for property owners
If you are a resident or a business or property owner near a potential Everett Link route/station or Operations and Maintenance Facility North location, you likely have questions about how the project may affect you. If it appears your property may be affected under any of the alternatives being studied in the Draft EIS, you should have received a letter in the mail from us in July. If you did not receive a letter but have reason to believe your property may be affected, feel free to reach out to us at everettlink@soundtransit.org or call us at 206-370-5533.
