Westbound right lane closures on S 272nd Street
What
In early September, Sound Transit will close the westbound right lane along S 272nd Street in Kent for two days. These closures are for roadway improvements, including roadway paving work along S 272nd Street and Star Lake Road. During this work, the westbound sidewalk will be closed.
Follow all signed detours and drive carefully.
When

- Work hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.*

- Crews will maintain residential access and establish pedestrian detours
- Crews will work to reduce noise, when possible, while using cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment.
