Temporary bus stops at Bellevue Transit Center
Construction began last week to retrofit the Bellevue Transit Center for Stride double-decker battery electric buses. This work has closed the east side of the transit center. Routes previously using bus bays 4-9 have been relocated to temporary bus stops on 110th Avenue NE and NE 6th Avenue.
This work includes painting, upgrades to the station’s canopy, lighting and signs, and sidewalk improvements. These improvements are key to ensuring that Stride can deliver fast, frequent, and reliable rapid transit service along S1/S2. For more information on Stride S1/S2 bus service, visit the Stride webpage.
