Hello! 

My name is Xavier Ajeto and I am the new Community Engagement Specialist for the Graham Street Station. I’m a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, and I’m excited to help our community remain informed and involved as this project moves forward. 

Project status
Following the Sound Transit Board’s System Expansion Committee’s approval to begin preliminary engineering in January 2026, Sound Transit’s project team has continued to move forward with preliminary design and the environmental review process. This work is expected to continue throughout 2026.

What's next
Upcoming community engagement will focus on station area planning, which will include gathering community input to identify specific pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure access needs in the area surrounding the future station. We will share more about upcoming engagement opportunities in the coming months, and I am available to meet and discuss the project in the meantime.
