Nighttime right lane closure on southbound I-5
What

Sound Transit contractor crews will close the right lane of southbound I-5 for approximately five nights. This closure is necessary to complete landscaping along southbound I-5. The closure will take place daily between the hours of 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. starting Monday, Jan. 5 through Friday, Jan. 9. Follow all signed detours and drive carefully.

Work will take place on weekday nights only; there will be no work on weekends

Where

Southbound I-5 right lane directly south of exit 147 (see map)

Three left lanes of southbound I-5 will remain open for travel.

Crews will work to reduce noise when possible.

Cranes, trucks, and other heavy equipment may be used.
