CORRECTION: Nighttime closures of southbound and northbound lanes on SR-99
Corrects errors in a previous report.
What
- Starting Dec. 1, Sound Transit’s contractors will close lanes at night on southbound and northbound SR-99 near the Kent Des Moines Station. This closure will accommodate roadway improvement ahead of the Federal Way Link Extension opening.

Crews will work to reduce noise when possible, while using trucks and other heavy equipment.
